Nearly half of Jordanians say Israel is the main threat

A poll by the Jordanian Center for Strategic Studies shows that the people of the Hashemite kingdom consider Israel the main cause of regional instability. This is reported by The Jerusalem Post.

According to a study conducted February 15-22, 46% of those polled call Israel the main threat to the Arab world. The second place with 10% is shared by Iran and the USA. 48% believe that Israel is the main cause of instability in the Middle East. 11% name the USA, 10% – Iran.

77% of Jordanians consider the Palestinian issue the main one on the agenda of regional politics. Only 12% call the Syrian crisis as such.

20% consider Turkey to be the country with which Jordan should expand cooperation in the first place. 11% talk about the US, 9% about Saudi Arabia.
