“We’re going to loot some, damn it.” Ukraine’s official Twitter account has shared a video containing audio of Russian soldiers calling their families from Ukraine and bragging about what they’ve captured. Executions are also being boasted on the phone.
In addition to the conversations, the video also contains images of looting. It is still unclear where and when the images were taken and the conversations were recorded, but they do not paint a good picture of Russian soldiers in Ukraine.
“These are real intercepted conversations of Russian soldiers in Ukraine calling their loved ones to tell them how things are going,” it said on Twitter. “Including looting and war crimes. The world needs to know what they are doing to our home and to our people.”
