Zelenskyy sent a message to the audience at the Grammy Awards: Our musicians wear bulletproof vests instead of tuxedos

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky addressed the audience at the 64th Grammy Music Awards in Las Vegas.

“Our musicians wear bulletproof vests instead of tuxedos,” Zelenski said in a recorded video address.

He told the audience that Ukraine is fighting for “freedom to live and love”, but that “Russian bombs are bringing silence to the streets”.

“Support us in any way, but not with your silence,” Zelenski told those gathered at the awards ceremony of the American Academy of Record Art and Science (NARAS).
