The Israeli authorities arrested four protesters this Tuesday night during a protest organized in Tel Aviv by relatives of hostages kidnapped by the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), which had not been previously authorized and which ended up cutting off traffic. the Ayalon highway.

The arrests were made for causing “public disturbances” outside the Kirya headquarters and for violating police dispersion orders, according to the Israeli newspaper ‘The Times of Israel’.

In addition, two of the detainees are relatives of hostages, who had organized the demonstration after the Israeli Government announced its withdrawal from the negotiations to achieve the release of the hostages in exchange for a ceasefire due to differences in the process.

“There are still 19 women in captivity, almost six months have passed (…), they are going through so many things that it hurts to imagine it,” declared a relative of a hostage during the demonstration.

“I am addressing my Prime Minister (Benjamin Netanyahu), it is his responsibility. It is his responsibility, Netanyahu, to bring them home, whatever the cost,” he added.
