Dozens of anti-Israeli demonstrators detained near the Israeli Embassy in Amman

Jordanian police arrested dozens of protesters who tried to storm the Israeli Embassy in Amman, Reuters reports.

According to eyewitnesses, the police used batons to disperse the demonstrators.

Anti-Israeli demonstrations near the Israeli Embassy took place for the third evening in a row. Thousands of Jordanians participate.

The demonstrators demand that the Jordanian government take practical measures to “stop Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people.” They demand the cancellation of all agreements with Israel, including the peace treaty (Wadi Arba agreement), the gas agreement, as well as a ban on land delivery of goods from the Persian Gulf countries through Jordan and a ban on the export of vegetables.

An anti-Israeli demonstration took place on the evening of March 26 in Aqaba. Some participants carried portraits of Yahya Sinouar and Hamas flags.
