Russia suspends flights to Israel, Iraq and Jordan

Flights of Russian airlines to Israel, Iraq and Jordan are suspended until restrictions are lifted, according to the Telegram channel of the Federal Air Transport Agency.

“Flights of Russian airlines to these countries (or the use of the airspace of these countries for transit flights of Russian airlines) are suspended until the restrictions are lifted,” the message, quoted by RIA Novosti, said.

It is noted that the decision was made in connection with the NOTAM message from the aviation authorities about the closure of Jordanian airspace from 23:00 on April 13 to 05:00 on April 14; Iraq from 23:45 April 13 to 05:30 April 14; Israel, from 00:30 April 14 to 07:00 April 14.
