A man threatened to blow himself up in the Iranian consulate in Paris and was arrested
A man was arrested after threatening to blow himself up today (Friday) in the square of the Iranian consulate in Paris. French police cordoned off the area and ordered the public to stay away from the consulate area. After a while, the police dismissed the rumor that the man was carrying an explosive belt, and the consulate reported that the man wanted to avenge his murdered brother. The aforementioned incident takes place in the shadow of Israel’s attack on Iran that took place last night, in which an air base near nuclear facilities and the city of Isfahan in central Iran was hit. Israel’s attack on Syria as well and the speculation among pro-Iranian Iraqi news agencies about the fall of an Israeli missile in the area near Baghdad, do not alleviate the volume of the man’s threat in the consulate.

Paris, a center with a considerable proportion of Muslims, already in the recent past showed signs of its hatred for Israel as early as the first months of the war, for example when soldiers in Gaza found a picture with a drawing of the Eiffel Tower and the inscription “It’s good to be Muslim” at the bottom. This evidence reinforces the fear of the fulfillment of other symbolic evidences of real reality.
