On the night of April 26, Yemen’s Houthis reported an attack on the Israeli ship MSC Darwin in the Gulf of Aden.
“The Yemeni Navy conducted an operation targeting the Israeli vessel MSC Darwin in the Gulf of Aden using suitable ship-based missiles and drones. The operation achieved its objectives,” the statement said.
According to the MarineTraffic website, which provides real-time traffic information, the MSC Darwin container flies the Liberian flag and is owned by MSC (Mediterranean Shipping Company), based in Geneva. The ship was in the Gulf of Aden at the time the Houthis published the statement.
