Khamenei: “The Palestinian regime will decide what to do with the Zionists”

Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei opposed the US administration’s attempts to normalize relations between Saudi Arabia and Israel. The implementation of this idea is being promoted by US Secretary of State Antony Blinken, who arrived in the region.

“Some believe that by forcing the countries of the region to improve relations with Israel, the problem can be solved. Palestine should be returned to the Palestinians. They will create their own regime, which will decide what to do with the Zionists,” the Ayatollah said.

The ongoing rapprochement between Israel and Saudi Arabia, despite military operations in Gaza, is causing considerable concern in Tehran. The kingdom’s accession to the Abraham Accords would be a major setback for Iran.
