London, Sadiq Khan elected mayor for the third time

Sadiq Khan wins the race for mayor of London. The Labor representative obtains a historic third mandate as mayor of the English capital. He prevailed with 43.7% of the vote, while his conservative rival Susan Hall got 32.6%. The turnout was 40.5%. Khan garnered 1,088,225 votes, compared to Hall’s 811,518. Khan is now the first person to serve a third term as Mayor of London.
