Brooklyn Beckham, 23, the son of former England captain David Beckham and former Spice Girls member Victoria Beckham, has married 27-year-old actress Nicola Peltz, daughter of Jewish billionaire Nelson Peltz.
The wedding took place at the Peltz estate in Florida and was held according to the Jewish ritual – under the Chuppah. The groom, who was wearing a yarmulke, broke a glass, promising not to forget about Jerusalem.
David Beckham has repeatedly stated that he identifies as a Jew, as he was very close to his Jewish grandfather and still remembers the kneidalach broth that he ate on Saturdays. On one of their wedding anniversaries, she and Victoria got Hebrew tattoos.
