US Army Central Command (Centcom) reports that on the afternoon of May 22, US troops successfully intercepted four kamikaze drones launched by Iran-backed Houthi terrorists.
There is no information about damage caused.
“These weapons have been determined to pose an imminent threat to merchant and U.S. Navy vessels. Our actions are being taken to protect freedom of navigation and enhance the safety of international waters for the U.S. Navy and merchant vessels,” Centcom said.
