On the night of Friday, May 24, Kharkov was again subjected to rocket fire. “Several explosions were heard in the city,” wrote Mayor Igor Terekhov on his Telegram channel.

An air raid alert was declared in the city.

According to local authorities, non-residential buildings and residential buildings were damaged as a result of the fall of two missiles. There is no information about casualties.

On the morning of May 23, the Russian army launched a massive attack on Kharkov. In an evening address, Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky said that among the civilian targets attacked was one of Ukraine’s largest printing houses. The rocket attack led to a fire in the paper workshop and book depository.

As a result of the morning shelling, according to local authorities, at least seven people were killed.
