On Sunday, May 26, a man armed with a knife wounded three people in the metro of the French city of Lyon.
According to TF1 television, the attack took place at around 15:00 at the Jean Jaurès station in the 7th arrondissement of Lyon.
According to the TV channel, several people reported to the police about a suspicious man armed with a folding knife. Before the police arrived, he managed to injure three passengers. The criminal stabbed two people in the stomach and wounded a third in the arm.
According to Actu Lyon, four people were injured and another needed help to recover from shock.
According to this publication, an investigation has been opened into “attempted premeditated murder.”
