The cat on Phi Phi Island, Krabi Province, became an internet phenomenon after repeatedly leading tourists into convenience stores and “persuading” them to buy food for him.
The cat became a “new star” on social networks after two Korean tourists posted a video on July 15 that attracted more than 2 million views, showing it “leading” them to buy food.
The cat went ahead, taking two female tourists into the pet food section of a convenience store on Phi Phi Island, Krabi Province, southern Thailand. After the female tourist confirmed what he wanted, the cat let out a few sounds. The two tourists laughed and decided to buy a food package for it.
