An Indian couple plans to hold a wedding with about 1,400 guests in 4 days, costing more than 130 billion VND, on Hon Tre Island, Nha Trang Bay, next December.
Mr. Phan Quang Dai, General Director of Blue Lemon Vietnam Co., Ltd. today said that the wedding is of a couple from Indian billionaire families, taking place from December 9-13, at resort systems on Hon Tre Island, Nha Trang Bay.
The wedding was attended by about 1,400 guests from India and many countries around the world. More than 600 personnel are expected to be mobilized to serve the wedding.
“The estimated cost for the wedding is more than 130 billion VND, this is considered the largest Indian wedding in Vietnam ever,” Mr. Dai said, adding that the program is coordinated by 3 units including his company and a company based in Turkey and a wedding organization and management unit from India.

Guests will attend a series of programs designed according to Indian culture including traditional ceremonies, wedding parties, entertainment programs, cuisine, music and many experiential activities at the resort. In addition, there is also a welcoming ceremony for the bride and groom’s family held at Cam Ranh International Airport.
According to Mr. Dai, the wedding was built according to the Destination Wedding model. International guests will relax and experience activities in Nha Trang during the event. The event is expected to create a new mark, contributing to promoting the image of Nha Trang – Khanh Hoa to the high-end customer community in India and international markets.
Ms. Thai Thi Le Hang, Director of Khanh Hoa Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, said that the province’s tourism industry will coordinate with units to organize relevant meetings to review and make plans to meet the needs of the Indian side, ensuring the wedding party goes well.
This is not the first time India’s super-rich have chosen Vietnam to hold a large-scale wedding. In December 2025, a billionaire family rented an entire resort in Phu Quoc for 7 days, welcoming more than 1,130 guests. In early February 2026, three consecutive billionaire weddings took place in Ha Long.
India is in the top 10 markets sending the most visitors to Vietnam, reaching nearly 340,000 visitors in the first 6 months of this year. Khanh Hoa considers this a key market in its tourism development strategy
