Etihad Airways transported 4.3 million passengers during the first quarter of this year, a growth of 43%, compared to 3 million passengers during the same period last year.
Etihad Airways published preliminary results of passenger traffic on its flights for the month of March 2024, as it received more than 1.4 million guests in March, while the average load factor reached 84% throughout the month.

On this occasion, Antonualdo Neves, CEO of Etihad Airways, said: “In March 2024, we witnessed a 41 percent year-on-year growth in the number of passengers, while the number of passengers increased by 42 percent over the numbers recorded in March 2023 to reach 4.3 million passengers.” .

He continued, “Our seasonal flights to a number of destinations, in addition to increasing the number of flights to other destinations, have increased the number of our weekly flights by 34%, that is, from 642 flights last summer to 866 flights during the peak season between June and July 2024, which means strengthening the network.” Our destinations and improving global connectivity.”

He said: “We are continuing the strategy of expanding the network of destinations, and we have recently added our flights to Al-Qassim as a fourth destination in Saudi Arabia, and we have increased the number of our flights to some of our European destinations, including two daily flights to Frankfurt and Rome in the morning and afternoon, which enhances our operations with convenient schedules for different travelers.” ».
