El Al announced a price reduction for European destinations
Quite a few international airlines, including low-cost companies, have not yet returned to flying to Israel, which greatly reduces the supply of flights and transfers the main burden to the Israeli companies. As a result, all the Israeli companies recently announced the leasing of aircraft, in order to meet the demand. In the meantime, El Al leased two Boeing 737-800 aircraft from the Lithuanian KLASJET company, which will join the flight schedule of Sun Dor, the subsidiary. The lease will increase Sun Dor’s seat supply by approximately 15,000 seats per month, which, according to the company, will make it possible to offer the destinations at more affordable and attractive prices for the season.

Following this, the company announces that it will increase its flight schedule to all summer destinations in May, which will respond to the high demand among Israelis. For example, up to 15 weekly flights will be operated to Larnaca in Cyprus starting from 159 dollars, to Paphos in Cyprus up to 6 weekly flights will be operated starting from 159 dollars, to Thessaloniki in Greece up to 6 weekly flights will be operated starting from 229 dollars, to Batumi in Georgia up to 5 weekly flights will be operated starting From 238 dollars, up to 11 weekly flights will be operated to Tbilisi in Georgia starting from 238 dollars and more.

“We are expanding the offer of flights for the month of May with the addition of approximately 15,000 seats in order to respond to the high demand,” said Gal Gershon, CEO of Sun Dor. . We will continue to act in order to respond as much as possible to the needs of customers and allow Israelis to take advantage of the summer period for airing vacations in the nearest vacation destinations, which we now offer at affordable prices.”
