The Ministry of Finance and the Mossad reached an agreement on the issue of pensions for intelligence officers

The Ministry of Finance and the leadership of the foreign intelligence service “Mossad” came to an agreement on the calculation of an interim pension for employees of the service. The Treasury and Mossad joint statement said that the agreements would allow for the promotion of administrative acts enshrining these rules.

It was also agreed that the Mossad would soon begin employing workers in ways that would allow them to receive higher salaries from the first day of work, but at the same time would not allow early retirement with an intermediate pension.

The parties have agreed that separate pension conditions will be provided to employees performing combat operations and holding positions to support these operations.
