Iran’s Foreign Ministry thanks Pakistan for its “efforts to end the imposed war”

Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmail Bakai thanked Pakistan for its “efforts to end the imposed war and establish peace in the region,” but did not directly comment on the extension of the truce, which was announced by US President Donald Trump the day before.

According to Bakai, Tehran confirms its readiness to defend itself and respond to any aggression or threat, emphasizing that “Iran did not start this war” and is closely monitoring developments.

He also said that diplomacy remains a tool for protecting national interests and security, and Iran will use it when it considers that “necessary and reasonable conditions” have been created for this.
