“Don’t call me this bullshit”: Gunshots rang out outside Chris Brown’s home

Rapper Chris Brown’s name has again been linked to a violent incident, but this time Brown seems to be out of the picture. Last Friday, the police were called outside the rapper’s house, which is located in the luxury Tarzana neighborhood of Los Angeles, following reports of a shooting outside the house.

According to the Los Angeles Police Department, a woman called 911 and reported that a man had shot at her vehicle after an argument that quickly escalated. During the argument, it was reported, the woman refused to leave her parking lot and ran over the man’s foot, who in response started shooting at her car.

Last night (Saturday) Brown decided to respond to the incident. In a story he uploaded to his Instagram account, he made sure to deny the reports: “This pattern is already old. I look at the news just like all of you and wonder when and where the hell it happened. I was in my house all this time and I didn’t hear any shots, police cars or anything else. Don’t associate my name with this bullshit.”

Brown seems to be making great efforts to keep his name out of the current affair, and considering his arrest record, we can understand why: as you recall, Brown was arrested last year On suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm against music producer Abe Dio, an incident that occurred at the “Tape” nightclub in Mayfair, central London in February 2023. This is far from Brown’s first violent incident. As you know, in 2009 Brown attacked his then-partner, Rihanna, and the injuries she received at his hands took her to the hospital. In 2017, his partner at the time filed a restraining order against Brown after he threatened her over the phone.
