A small plane crashed into a building in Belo Horizonte: two dead and three seriously injured

Additionally, it was reported three injured due to the violent impact against a residential building located in the capital of the Brazilian state of Minas Gerais.

Now the authorities are investigating the reasons for the tragic accident.

The State Military Fire Department confirmed to G1 the death of the pilot and co-pilotand the transfer in serious condition of the remaining occupants who were on board the plane to a healthcare center in the area.

The accident occurred shortly after noon when the aircraft hit a four-story residential complex, specifically against the stairwell area in the sector located between the third and fourth floors.

The first reports of the incident reveal that, fortunately, did not impact inside any apartment.

Rescue teams and experts from the Civil Police are at the scene to secure the area and carry out the first investigations into the causes of the incident.

The images of the plane converted into destroyed iron went viral on social networks, along with a video showing the trajectory prior to impact.

The building is being evacuated preventively while it is evaluated whether the structure of the building was compromised due to the accident.
