Cisint (Lega) against Lucano (Avs): “Clarify links with imam accused of terrorism”

“The visit of exponents of the left to subjects linked to terrorism – states the MEP – certainly does not represent anything new: we had already seen it in the Cospito case and, today, it is repeated with Mimmo Lucano who, in Calabria, met Riyad Albustanji, one of those arrested as part of the investigation into Mohammad Hannounaccused of having financed the terrorist organization Hamas”.

For Cisint, it is “a disturbing ideological fusion with the Islamists which sees, once again, exponents of The Left approaching violent and subversive organizations: this is demonstrated by the case Ilaria Salis and also Lucano himself, recently dismissed as mayor of Riace. For this reason I presented a parliamentary question to clarify what links, including financial ones, may exist between Lucano and groups close to the Hamas terrorists who, according to investigations, were collecting money in Italy to support terrorism in Gaza. The risk that the mix between certain left and Islamist circles is not just ideological, but also economicalshould not be underestimated: it is necessary to shed full light”, he concludes.
