Samsung renews its mid-range with the Galaxy A27, which incorporates more AI and up to six years of updates

Samsung has presented its new Galaxy A27 smartphone, which is committed to bringing artificial intelligence (AI) to more users with advanced integrated functions, in addition to incorporating an immersive AMOLED Infinity-O screen, the performance of the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 processor and up to six years of security updates.

With the latest addition of the Galaxy A series, the technology company aims to bring more users closer to a “more immersive, fluid and intelligent” mobile experience for daily use, with reliable performance and intuitively integrated AI functions.

To this end, the new Galaxy A27 is a continuation of its predecessor, the Galaxy A 26, although it incorporates significant improvements such as a “more balanced” design thanks to its slim 7.8 mm body, which is comfortable in the hand for long periods of use, available in black, blue, pink and green.

Along with this design, it incorporates a 6.7-inch AMOLED Infinity-O screen, which has a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz and minimizes the visible area of ​​the camera through a discreet perforated design. In addition, its bezel is reduced, providing more screen space and eliminating distractions, as explained in a statement.

Samsung has also highlighted the performance capacity offered by the Galaxy A27, given that it is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 processor, capable of offering a fluid experience throughout the day, even when multitasking, according to Samsung. Additionally, GPU improvements provide smoother graphics for gaming.

The processor is accompanied by a configuration of between 6 and 8 GB of RAM and storage of up to 256 GB, expandable up to 2 TB via MicroSD.

Likewise, it has new AI functions that are added to the A series, such as Circle to Search with multiple object recognition, a more precise Object Eraser and a Voice Transcription tool with translation in 22 languages.

Following this line, based on ‘Mind-blowing Intelligence’ experiences, the Galaxy A27 allows you to choose from several AI assistants, including Google Gemini and Perplexity, which integrate more deeply into more native Galaxy applications and enable faster and more intuitive everyday interactions.

This new smartphone is also compatible with Bixby, its conversational agent that allows you to control settings and functions using natural language.

Another factor that the company has highlighted is that the Galaxy A27 follows Samsung’s objectives to increase the durability and security of its devices, given that it has up to six generations of Android and One UI updates, six years of security updates and Samsung Knox and Knox Vault technologies.

Finally, the camera of this device consists of a 5 MP ultra-wide-angle sensor, a 50 MP wide-angle lens with OIS stabilization and a 2 MP macro sensor. The front camera, for its part, is 12 MP. Likewise, the battery has a capacity of 5,000 mAh.

All in all, Samsung has announced that the new Galaxy A27 will be available to users starting next Friday, July 3 in selected markets.
