Ankara condemned the invasion of the Israeli army in the south of Syria

Ankara has condemned the invasion of the Israeli army in the south of Syria, against the background of the tension that started near the Golan Heights.

“These attacks violate the lives of the Syrian people and grossly violate the norms of international law,” stated the Turkish Foreign Ministry, calling on the international community to stop Israel’s attacks.

The Syrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs also condemned Israel’s incursions and shelling.

The Israeli army announced yesterday that it killed “several armed terrorists” the previous day in the southern part of Syria, which it has occupied since the end of 2024, capturing the demilitarized buffer zone controlled by the United Nations.
