Colonel Vu Cao Son holds the position of Chief of Office of the Ministry of Finance

Colonel Vu Cao Son, Deputy Commander of the Mobile Police Command (Ministry of Public Security), was accepted to work at the Ministry of Finance and held the position of Chief of the Ministry’s Office.

On July 3, the Ministry of Finance announced and handed over the Finance Minister’s decision on personnel work.

Accordingly, Mr. Vu Cao Son, Deputy Commander of the Mobile Police Command (Ministry of Public Security), was appointed Chief of Office of the Ministry of Finance from July 1.

New Chief of Office Vu Cao Son has many years of experience working in units and localities in the People’s Public Security Force. He said he would work with the Ministry of Finance Office to focus on improving advisory and coordination work.

The Ministry of Finance currently has 34 affiliated focal points, including 29 administrative organizations, 4 public service units and 1 special unit. The Ministry’s Office plays a central role in advising, coordinating and ensuring the effectiveness of the Ministry’s direction and administration activities.

Minister of Finance Ngo Van Tuan said that strengthening the position of Chief of Office is very important in the context that the Ministry is promoting governance innovation, digital transformation and administrative reform.

Previously, on June 30, the Mobile Police Command announced the decision to second Colonel Vu Cao Son to work at the Ministry of Finance from July 1. This is to meet the requirements of staff work and strengthen coordination between the two ministries in the new period.
