Lazio, 20 thousand in the streets against Lotito. Among the fans also Rocca and Tommaso Paradiso

One white and blue tide of approx 20 thousand people took to the streets on the afternoon of Thursday 2 July in Rome to demonstrate its radical dissent towards the company management of president Claudio Lotito.

The anger of Lazio fans against Lotito

The focus of the dispute has shifted from Milvian Bridge – symbolic place of Lazio support where the first 10mila supporter they had initially gathered – parading in a long and noisy procession among choirs, flags and smoke bombs along Viale Tiziano, until they reached the heart of the protest in Piazzale Ankara, near the Flaminio stadium where a stage was set up.

The rift with the current Biancoceleste presidency

A massive mobilization, born to reiterate the love for social colors and, at the same time, the total fracture with the current presidency. There was also a moment of fun and tension when the crowd mocked a resident who, looking out of the window, had displayed a Roma scarf.

Also present was the president of the Lazio Region, Francesco Rocca

Also present was an exceptional fan, the president of the Lazio Region, Francesco Rocca. On the stage set up in the Flaminio car park, moments of strong Lazio identity alternated. Among those present, the former Lazio falconer, Juan Bernabè, who participated in the event bringing with him the eagle, the club’s symbol.

The music of Tommaso Paradiso

There is also space for music with the singer Thomas Paradisea well-known Biancoceleste fan. From the square, however, there also emerged very harsh chants and radical slogans addressed to the patron, such as “we gave the thumbs down to this character, either we or him”, up to more extreme invocations on the future of the presidency “We want him at Prima Porta”, “Only if Lotito dies”. An evening after which it will be difficult to mend the already incurable tear between the patron and the heart of the Lazio fans.
