Tomorrow, the CC will publish the decision on contesting the election results

“On July 4, 2026, the decision of the Constitutional Court will be published regarding the dispute related to the decision of June 14, 2026, “On summarizing the results of the regular elections of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia on June 7, 2026”, – said in the message published on the official Facebook page of the High Court.

The CC will provide additional information on the time of publication of the decision.

The official results of the elections are contested by 7 political forces in the High Court. The Constitutional Court started the examination of the case on June 26, and left for the consultation room on July 1.

According to the Law on the Constitutional Court, the High Court must either leave the election results unchanged, i.e., the decision of the Central Election Commission regarding those results, or invalidate it and make three main decisions: “invalidate the election results”, “invalidate and establish the order of distribution of mandates”, “designate a second round of elections”.
