CL is taking huge risks in this fight. Leeks are free and donations cover operational costs. Using crypto is the only way. CL can’t win alone. Today is the day to show support and protest.”

Protest by eating leeks and paid surveys

The CyberLeek group has launched paid polls where the community can vote on which game clip to release next, and voting is done by sending their crypto tokens. The scheme is reportedly part of a protest against an all-digital future and Rockstar’s decision not to sell GTA 6 on physical media. Legal battle and reactions from Rockstar

Although there are no plans to delay this week’s launch on Netflix, as IGN reports, there is a lot of frustration and anger inside the company, and management is sending motivational messages to employees to boost morale.

The former director plays down the damage

On the other hand, Obbe Vermeij, former technical director at Rockstar Games, downplayed the importance of these leaks. Vermeij, who worked at Rockstar North from 1995 to 2009, said on social media that the infamous “Hot Coffee” scandal was far more damaging to the company than these events.

Neither Take-Two nor Rockstar have yet issued an official statement regarding the latest leaks.
