A soundtrack from an old short film by YouTuber Cyprien becomes the anthem of high school blockades

Unlike his counterparts Squeezie, Tibo Inshape and Lena Situations, influencer Cyprien Iov, with more than 14 million subscribers on YouTube, has not yet spoken publicly about the high school blockades. But even in remaining silent, he found himself at the heart of the movement. To the point of becoming a unifying symbol. No Titlemusic taken from one of his short films published on the streaming platform eleven years ago, currently serves as a soundtrack for the young demonstrators. On TikTok and Instagram, it has already been used more than 100,000 times. The LFI presidential candidate, Jean-Luc Mélenchon, also made it his own.

No one knows if the leader of the Insoumis understood the meaning of No Title or if he is simply riding his popularity. According to the Lyrics Spaace account, specializing in music decryption, the piece signed by Franco-Vietnamese producer Nodey is such a success because high school students associate it with “their childhood” and to a universe that speaks to them much more than the repertoire of Aznavour, Brel or Brassens. To date, the short film in question, Technophobehas nearly 45 million views on YouTube. The theme of the mini-film, on addiction to new technologies, is particularly close to the interests of the younger generation.
