Vam Cong Industrial Park is nearly 200 hectares wide, with a total capital of 4,800 billion VND, oriented towards a deep processing and high-value logistics center, and was started on the afternoon of March 30.
The project is located at the Southeast gateway of Long Xuyen urban area, near the North – South Western highways and Chau Doc – Can Tho – Soc Trang, directly connecting to My Thoi port, convenient for transporting goods to Ho Chi Minh City, Tran De port and major economic centers.

The industrial park is oriented to attract high-tech industries, food processing, agricultural and aquatic products, logistics, electricity – electronics and information technology, expected to create jobs for about 7,800 workers.
Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan, Deputy General Director of T&T Group, said the project is planned according to an economic model associated with ecology and 21st century high technology. Nearly a quarter of the project area is devoted to green trees and water surface to create a sustainable production environment.

Mr. Ho Van Mung, Chairman of An Giang Provincial People’s Committee, said that when put into operation, the industrial park will create new growth momentum, create jobs for local workers and attract more secondary investors.
After merging with Kien Giang, An Giang currently has 5 industrial parks in operation and a number of projects that have had investment policies approved.
