“Dubai Land” and “Dubai Silicon” launch the “Developers Meeting” to empower competencies

The Dubai Land Department and Dubai Silicon Oasis, the economic zone specializing in knowledge and innovation and falling under the umbrella of the Dubai Integrated Economic Zones Authority (DIZ), organized an interactive meeting that brought together real estate developers with members of the Emirati Real Estate Companies Incubator Program, in a step that reflects the department’s commitment to empowering national competencies and enhancing their integration into the real estate system.
The meeting came as one of the practical stations within the first phase of the program, as it focused on providing a direct space for dialogue and exchange of experiences, and building quality professional relationships between the affiliates and an elite group of developers, which contributes to supporting their transition from the qualification stage to practical application, linking them to real opportunities in the real estate market, and enhancing their readiness to engage in it efficiently and confidently.

Dubai Land Initiative

The UAE Real Estate Companies Incubator falls within the initiatives of Dubai Land Department, and within the framework of the national campaign “The UAE is the Entrepreneurial Capital of the World,” launched by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, may God protect him, with the aim of consolidating the UAE’s position as a global destination for entrepreneurship. The program is being implemented in cooperation with its strategic partners, namely Dubai Silicon Oasis, the New Economy Academy, and the Rochester University of Technology in Dubai, through an integrated system that aims to qualify national real estate brokers and enable them to establish and manage their own companies, and provide them with sustainable sources of income, thus enhancing their presence in various areas of the real estate sector.
The meeting contributed to activating the role of real estate developer partners, and transforming their commitments into tangible opportunities for participants, by providing direct access to projects, data, and marketing opportunities, in addition to strengthening partnerships and enhancing the level of support provided by developers, reflecting the department’s role as a major enabler of national competencies.

Important station

In his speech during the forum, Badr Buhannad, General Manager of Dubai Silicon Oasis, said: “The Emirati real estate companies incubator program is an important step in the process of empowering national competencies and qualifying them to enter the real estate sector efficiently and competently. At Dubai Silicon Oasis, we are proud of our strategic partnership with the Dubai Land Department in this program, which comes from our commitment to supporting an integrated system that enhances the development of national capabilities and expands its participation in vital sectors.”
Buhanad added: “Through this meeting, we confirm our continued commitment to enabling participants to have direct access to developers, and to learn about projects and opportunities on the ground, thus accelerating their transition from the qualification stage to building real estate companies capable of growth, sustainability, and competing with confidence in the market.”

For his part, Engineer Abdullah Ahmed Al Shehhi, Executive Director of the Real Estate Regulatory Authority, confirmed that the program represents a fundamental pillar in supporting the sustainability of the real estate sector.

He said: “This initiative stems from a clear vision that believes that empowering national competencies is the true basis for maintaining a sustainable and prosperous real estate sector. What we are witnessing today is a qualitative transition from the theoretical qualification stage to practical application, through direct communication with developers who have been success stories in the Dubai market. What is being built here is not limited to knowledge, but extends to establishing companies capable of competing and adding real value to the market.”
