American Shutterfly closes its Haifa center and lays off 80 workers

Shutterfly is an American company specializing in personalized advertising and photo printing. The Israeli division was created in 2012 after acquiring the Haifa startup Photoccino for an amount estimated at $10-20 million.

The Haifa center served as the technology division of the global company.

In a statement, the company said that “Shutterfly is deeply grateful for the dedication of the Haifa team over the past 14 years” and that “the company is committed to fully supporting employees during this transition period, as well as complying with all legal procedures.”
