Agroindustrial exports soared 31.4% in March and in the first quarter exceeded US$ 12.2 billion

The beef and hides They also had a leading role in the growth. In March, there was an exponential increase in income of 94.7% to US$ 459.3 million, while in the first three months of the year the increase was 50% to US$ 1,172 million.

Greater shipments in volume than last year and prices at record levels allowed this increase in income.

The third complex that made a great contribution was the sunflowerwhich not only had a great harvest and record grinding for the manufacture of oil and derivatives, but also had historically high prices throughout the commercial campaign.

Thus, exports in March were 170% above the same month last year to US$ 461.5 million, while the results of the first quarter were even better: income climbed 195.5% to US$ 1,004.5 million.

Lastly, the fishing – despite the critical situation it is experiencing according to the sector chambers -, it also had a good performance, both in the third month and in the first quarter: 94.8% (US$ 287.3 million) and 41.7% (US$ 690.6 million), respectively.

In contrast, the two largest Argentine agricultural complexes, such as soybeans and cornhad lean to moderate results.

In the case of the oilseedthe third month closed unchanged with US$ 1,226 million exported, while in the January-March period, revenues grew 11.3% to US$ 3,093 million. It is worth mentioning that the bean harvest is still in its infancy, greatly delayed by the rains.

On the side of cerealalthough an increase of 50.4% was recorded compared to March 2025 with US$ 989.9 million exported thanks to the entry of the new harvest into the commercial circuit, in the first quarter the balance is negative: it fell 8.5% to US$ 1.6 billion.
