Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Transport evaluates railway project to Turkey

Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Transport and Logistics Saleh al-Jasser said in an interview with Al Arabiya TV that the assessment of the project on the railway route to Turkey through Jordan and Syria will be completed before the end of this year.

According to al-Jaser, this project is designed to strengthen regional integration, support trade turnover and develop a system of sustainable land transport between countries in the region.

He also noted that the kingdom’s national railway network already extends to the Jordanian border through the Al-Hadith border crossing, making it a strategic stronghold for future expansion towards regional and international connectivity.
