The Croatian Armed Forces expands the use of Bittium’s technology, the value of the order is 1.9 million euros

Croatian Armed Forces to expand Bittium the use of technology. The use of Bittium’s tactical communication solutions is expanding to ground communication of the Croatian Air Force.

The value of the order for the latest expansion phase is approximately EUR 1.9 million.

The modernization of the information transfer of the command system of the Croatian Armed Forces began in 2022 between Bittium and the company’s Croatian partner Intel replacement Info with. Bittium’s tactical data transmission system and software-based radios have been implemented in stages in the project.

Bittium’s ip-based network is now being extended to ground data transmission of the Croatian Air Force.

In addition to Bittium Tactical Wireless IP Network system products and Tough SDR Vehicular radios, accessories and software are supplied to the armed forces. The expansion is part of a four-year framework agreement between Intellbyte Info, Bittium and the Croatian Armed Forces.
