The National Power Transmission Corporation has a new Acting General Director

The decision to assign the role of Acting General Director was issued by Vietnam Electricity Group (EVN) on May 16. Accordingly, Mr. Hoang Xuan Khoi, Deputy General Director of the National Power Transmission Corporation (EVNNPT) is the Acting General Director, replacing Mr. Truong Huu Thanh.

Mr. Khoi was assigned a new position after nearly 4 months as Deputy General Director of this enterprise. Previously, he was Deputy Director of Power Transmission Company 1 (PTC1).

Acting General Director Hoang Xuan Khoi will be directly in charge of areas such as planning development strategies, building plans for production and construction investment, electricity transmission prices, staff organization, bidding, inspection – legality.

He is also in charge of the Planning, Organization and Human Resources, Inspection – Inspection and Legal Departments, Bidding Management, Communications and Corporate Culture.

In addition, EVNNPT also reassigned tasks to deputy general directors. Accordingly, Mr. Luu Viet Tien is in charge of engineering, operations management and a number of construction investment projects. Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Tan manages the fields of finance, accounting and construction investment. Mr. Bui Van Kien is responsible for investment in construction and administration of the agency.

The move to consolidate personnel at EVNNPT takes place in the context that the fields of power transmission, consulting, and construction are receiving public attention when the investigation agency prosecutes a number of leaders and key personnel at PC1 Group, Power Construction Consulting Company 1 (PECC1), and Power Construction Consulting Company 2 (PECC2). According to PECC2’s announcement on May 21, the Ministry of Public Security is investigating the case at EVNNPT, PC1 and the applications. relevant positions across the country.
