Queenam’s Shichimi chocolate was honored at Thaifex 2026

Thaifex-Anuga Asia 2026 takes place from May 26 to 30 in Bangkok (Thailand), is one of the large-scale food and beverage (F&B) industry trade exhibitions in the Asia-Pacific region. This year, the event attracted 3,590 businesses from 56 countries and 95,000 visitors.

Contributing to the attraction of the fair, the TasteInnovation Show exhibition space introduces products that meet the criteria of creativity, potential to dominate the market and the ability to lead future F&B trends. Overcoming more than 600 competitors, Queenam’s Shichimi-flavored chocolate line is on the list of three representatives from Vietnam honored in the final round.

This snack impresses diners and experts with the combination of a sweet and sweet white chocolate shell, a crunchy cashew and almond filling, mixed with a bit of spiciness and the strong aroma of Shichimi togarashi – a “flavorless” chili powder associated with Japanese cuisine.

“Queenam’s achievements in the continental arena do not come from luck, but are reaped by the process of researching ingredients, culture and taste,” the business representative shared.

The product development team at Queenam approached the Shichimi togarashi spice from working with international partners, thereby coming up with the idea to redefine the consumer experience of enjoying chocolate. After many rounds of testing, the team found a balance between the fatty sweetness of white chocolate, the crunchiness of cashews and almonds, and the warm spicy character of Shichimi.

The result is a product where at the first bite, the person enjoying the familiar sweet and fatty taste of chocolate and nuts; After that, the aroma and warm spicy aftertaste of Shichimi gradually appear, bringing a new and different experience.

Fancy Foods is the manufacturing unit behind Queenam products. The enterprise inherits nearly 30 years of experience in the Nhat Huong ecosystem and owns a factory in Ho Chi Minh City that meets international production standards, serving research, development and product manufacturing activities.

Queenam will launch on the market from 2024, gradually expanding its export market to a number of countries such as the US, Korea, Japan, Singapore and Thailand. The brand representative said that the product lines are developed in the direction of combining ingredients, flavors and creative ideas to create a unique mark of Vietnamese chocolate in the international market. Among them, Shichimi-flavored chocolate covered with almonds and cashews is in the brand’s collection of 14 types of chocolate covered with nuts.
