The largest shopping center in Da Nang comes into operation

Unlike previous self-construction projects, Aeon Mall Da Nang Thanh Khe applies the model of subleasing 4 floors of commercial podium (from 1st to 4th floor) of Nguyen Kim Complex Building Center. This building has 18 floors and 2 basements, accommodating 430 cars and 1,800 motorbikes.

This is the largest commercial center in Da Nang with a floor area of ​​about 14,600 m2, commercial floor area of ​​about 30,000 m2 and rental area of ​​about 21,000 m2. Ranked second is Lotte Mart Da Nang with 24,000 m2 of floor space.

However, this area is still smaller than self-built centers such as Aeon Mall Hue (138,000 m2), Aeon Mall Tan Phu Celadon (182,000 m2), Aeon Mall Long Bien (120,000 m2)…

Explaining the investment in Hue before Da Nang, Aeon Mall Vietnam representative said the group has a development strategy in centrally run cities. The implementation in Hue first was coincidental because investment and project development procedures were completed faster here.

This shopping center gathers about 54 stores, of which nearly half are appearing for the first time in the Central region such as Uniqlo, Muji, Lacoste, Tommy Hilfiger… The 3,100 m2 streamlined supermarket area prioritizes the use of domestic goods with many fresh and organic products of Vietnamese origin.

The Japanese representative said that it is expected to implement the Aeon Mall Hoa Xuan project with an area about 3.5 times larger than the project in Thanh Khe. The project is completing procedures and will be implemented in parallel based on listening to local people’s opinions.
