130 thousand Israelis will receive the first tranche of labor subsidies for 2025

On Thursday, July 16, the IRS will transfer the first tranche of the labor subsidy (negative income tax) for the 2025 tax year to the accounts of 130 thousand recipients.

In total, approximately 260 million shekels will be paid to recipients. The size of the payment is determined by age, family composition and annual income, and can reach several thousand shekels per year.

Employees and self-employed people aged 21 and over who are parents of children are eligible to receive the payment, as well as persons aged 55 and over – even without children – whose income meets the established criteria and who do not own more than one apartment.

You can apply for a subsidy on the Tax Administration website or at an Israel Post office.
