Israel became the most expensive of the OECD countries

On Sunday, August 27, the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) published data according to which, in 2022, Israel became the most expensive country in the OECD bloc.

Living in Israel is 38% more expensive than the organization average and 53% more expensive than the EU average.

Just 13 years ago, in 2009, prices in Israel were at the OECD average.

In second place was Switzerland, which previously ranked first on the list. In third place is Iceland.
