Podcast pioneer, CEO Juhani Pajunen has died at the age of 46 – Finance

Suomen Podcastmedia, founded by Juhani Pajunen, is one of the first and largest podcast production companies in Finland.

Pajunen’s death was reported by the staff of Suomen Podcastmedia in a social service message On Linkedin on Friday. The death is confirmed from the company to HS.

Paju has been called one of Finland’s podcast pioneers. He died earlier this week and was 46 when he died.

“Our team is naturally shocked by what happened and our thoughts are with Juhan’s family and friends,” the Linkedin message reads.

Willow tree was founding Suomen Podcastmedia in 2018. In six years, it became Finland’s leading production company focusing on podcasts.

Last year, the majority of Finnish Podcastmedia was sold to the Swedish Podx Group. By European standards, Sweden is a big country in the podcast market.

Podcastmedia’s original series include, for example, Yle’s Rikollinen Profiili and the Kari Kanala world’s footy trailing podcast series. In addition, the company produces podcasts of various companies for marketing purposes.

Juhani Pajuse had twenty years of experience in the communications industry, and he was producing many of Finland’s most popular business podcasts.
