Mixed weekly performance for Gulf stocks

Stocks in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries recorded mixed weekly performance.

The Dubai market index declined in a week by a slight rate that did not exceed 0.05% to the level of 4244.15 points, while the Abu Dhabi market rose in a week by 0.1% at 9237.26 points.

The Saudi market index ended last week’s trading with an increase of 1.1%, closing at 12,705 points, compared to the previous week’s close at 12,566 points.

In Kuwait, the general market index declined over 3 sessions, by 0.75%, to close on Wednesday at 7,271.82 points, compared to last week’s close at 7,327.23 points.

The Kuwait Stock Exchange entered a holiday on Thursday, and trading will resume on Sunday, April 7, 2024.

In Bahrain, the general index of the Bahrain Stock Exchange declined 1.67% over 5 sessions, closing at 2,021.54 points, compared to the previous week’s close at 2,053.66 points.

In Qatar, the Qatar Stock Exchange index fell by 1.28% during 5 sessions, closing at 9816.30 points, compared to the previous week’s close at 9961.84 points.

In the Sultanate of Oman, the Muscat Stock Exchange index rose 0.16% over 5 sessions, closing at 4680.67 points, compared to the previous week’s close at 4635.70 points.
