Customers of S-group and S-bank can now pay and collect bonuses with Apple devices as well.
Apple’s the mobile payment service Apple Pay has expanded to be used by S-bank’s customers. According to Tuesday’s press release from S group, its customers can now add their S-etukortti Visa payment card to the Apple Pay service.
At the same time, S group customer owners had the opportunity to add their bonus-accumulating advantage card to Apple’s Wallet application.
Paying with a digital S-bank card is done by pressing twice the lock button on the iPhone smartphone and holding the device close to the cash register payment terminal. Payment and bonuses can also be done with Apple’s smart watch.
Payment transactions are authenticated with fingerprint recognition, face recognition or the device’s code number.
S benefit card can be added to Apple’s Wallet via the S-mobile application. In the S-mobile application, you have to go to the Me section and select the item “Add to Apple Wallet”. In order for this to be successful, the latest version 2.27.0 of S-mobile must be used.
Connecting the card to the Apple Pay application is also possible from the Wallet application, by clicking the + button and following the on-screen instructions.
According to the S group’s press release, S group’s customers have a total of four million S advantage cards in use. The majority of these are also S-bank’s international payment cards.
The S advantage card has already been able to be connected to the Google Pay payment application on Android phones.
