“Manufacturers” events conduct 10,000 immediate interviews for Emirati talent

The activities of the second session of the “Manufacturers” exhibition for jobs in industry and advanced technology were concluded in Abu Dhabi, which was hosted by the Abu Dhabi Energy Center from April 21 to 23, and was organized by the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology, the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation, the Emirates Competitiveness Council (NAFES) and the ADNOC Group. .

The “Manufacturers” exhibition for jobs in industry and advanced technology, which is the first exhibition of its kind in which Emiratis receive immediate interviews leading to employment, witnessed the presence of more than 4,200 young Emiratis from various emirates of the country, and more than 10,000 immediate interviews were held in more than 83 companies. It is an institution operating in the industrial and advanced technology sector in the UAE, and Emirati talent has obtained many direct employment opportunities in the industrial and advanced technology sector.

It is worth noting that the second edition of the exhibition provided more than 800 job opportunities for Emiratis, including about 150 jobs for citizens of determination in industrial, technological and service companies in the private sector, to enable them to highlight their skills and abilities, and enhance their presence in the industrial and technological sector.

  • Promoting “Made in the Emirates”

Omar Al Suwaidi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology, confirmed that the exhibition is organized in line with the National Strategy for Industry and Advanced Technology, and under the umbrella of the “National Content Programme.” It in turn enhances the “Made in the Emirates” initiative, and is in line with the strategic initiatives and objectives of the Ministry that support the competitiveness of the industrial sector and enhance Its competitiveness, growth, and contribution to economic diversification and sustainable economic development. It also represents an integrated platform that brings together government partners, the private sector, training agencies, and job seekers under one roof, to provide opportunities based on the needs and requirements of factories.

He said: “This year, the exhibition aimed to offer more than 800 immediate jobs during the exhibition, in addition to many various training programs that are directly related to conducting immediate interviews for job seekers, which contributes to facilitating the procedures for enrolling qualified Emirati talents in industrial and service jobs. During these interviews, harmonization was achieved. Between companies’ requirements and job seekers’ skills.

For his part, Ghanem Butti Al Mazrouei, Secretary-General of the National Competitiveness Council (NAFES), stressed that “the Council, in light of the directives and unlimited support of the wise leadership, attaches strategic importance to the issue of Emiratisation in the private sector, and we work in cooperation with our partners such as the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology, and the Ministry of Resources.” “Humanity and Emiratisation, and ADNOC Group, for supporting these efforts by providing incentives to companies to enhance Emiratisation and skills for our national competencies.”

He added: “The results of the second session of the “Masna’een” exhibition reflect an important positive situation, not only in the number of jobs offered and obtained by our youth, but also in their positive impact on the new generation’s convictions about employment fairs, in light of the opportunities provided by (Masna’in) of immediate employment and training.” Ending with employment, and aligning the capabilities of youth with the requirements of industrial and service companies.”

He noted that “the second session of the exhibition witnessed a turnout of more than 4,200 citizens compared to 3,000 in the previous session.
