Third edition of Green Visions: Ticket sales for Potsdam’s green film festival start

Time to act – the call is part of the program at the third edition of the Green Visions film and science festival, and not just as a film title. From May 28th to 31st, 24 international documentaries, feature films and animated films will deal with the current state of nature, the environment and the climate.

“Derek vs. Derek” was created with the support of the Redford Center, founded by the recently deceased actor and climate activist Robert Redford.

Tickets can be purchased from April 22nd – for example for the films “How Deep Is Your Love” and “A Life Illuminated”, in which viewers dive into the deep sea with scientists to explore fragile and ancient ecosystems in one of the last unknown areas on earth.

“Derek vs. Derek,” a film about two English farmers with plenty of British humor, was made with the support of the Redford Center, founded by the late actor and climate activist Robert Redford.

UNESCO Creative City of Film presents international short films on the topic of sustainability. The final film “Super Nature” is a declaration of love for nature: 40 amateur filmmakers from 25 countries explored our contemporary world on film in Super 8 format.

The festival will open again on May 28th under the direction of Dieter Kosslick at the Filmmuseum Potsdam, where the majority of the program also takes place. It is supplemented by neighborhood cinema screenings at various locations.
