“My God, we were kids”: Kylie opens up about childhood in the shadow of publicity

Kylie Jenner sat down for a heated conversation on Jake Shane’s podcast, Therapuss, and was asked if she remembers life before the family reality show “The Kardashians.” Jenner admitted that she hardly remembers life before the family reality show, as she was only 9 years old when filming began: “One day they were just at home and everyone made it look completely normal. So I have to say it felt pretty natural.”

Later in the interview, Jenner shared about dealing with fame at such a young age: “Malls were closed for us, Kendall and I talk about it a lot. When you’re in it and you’re so young, you don’t even realize what’s going on – as an adult I look back and say to myself, ‘Oh my God! We were kids,'” Jenner shared, adding: “We had no idea, that’s how crazy it is. We worked and it was crazy.”

Finally, Jenner was asked about the reaction of her eldest daughter, Stormi (8), to the cameras: “She really likes it and I have to set limits,” Jenner shared. “I don’t know if you saw the pictures of our paparazzi entering the restaurant. As soon as she saw that she was being photographed she just gave a huge smile to the camera”, apparently the apple didn’t fall far from the tree.
