SGAE Foundation and Iberseries & Platino Industria have signed a collaboration agreement to promote the projection of audiovisual scriptwriters through the joint organization of a professional pitch session that will connect the authors participating in the SGAE Foundation Series Creation Laboratories to present your projects to producers, buyers and prominent representatives of the international audiovisual industry.
The initiative, as explained by both entities, will be held October 1, 2026 in Matadero Madridwithin the official programming of Iberseries & Platino Industria 2026, the main professional meeting of Ibero-American audiovisuals, which brings together each year producers, distributors, platforms, television networks, sales agents and other professionals in the sector from Europe, Latin America and the United States.
As a result of this collaboration, the projects developed in the laboratories will have a strategic platform to connect with potential partners, investors and content managers, expanding their production, financing and international projection possibilities.
This agreement reinforces the commitment of both entities with the promotion of audiovisual talent and the creation of spaces that favor the connection between creators and the industry.
While SGAE Foundation develops training, promotion and support programs for audiovisual authors, Iberseries & Platino Industria consolidates itself as the main business, networking and project development forum of the Ibero-American audiovisual sector.
Through this alliance, Iberseries & Platino Industria and SGAE Foundation contribute to strengthen the creative and business ecosystem of audiovisual in Spanish and Portuguese, generating new opportunities for fiction projects to make the leap to the international market.
