For tens of millions of dollars: the star bought a huge mansion

In recent days, the Australian media has been in a frenzy over one of the largest and most intriguing real estate deals in Queensland, which was behind an unknown buyer. Now it has been revealed that the mysterious buyer is none other than the Hollywood star Margot Robbie (36). According to reports, the actress purchased a huge mansion in the Currumbin Valley in exchange for approximately 28 million Australian dollars (more than 60 million shekels).

“It’s a huge, spectacular house, there have been some big deals in the Currumbin Valley, but nothing quite like this deal,” local estate agent Stephen Hay told Australia’s Courier Mail newspaper. “The sale was kept secret. When it appeared in the data, we thought it was a sale related to a business company.” According to the report, the estate is completely isolated and covers approximately 29 dunams. It includes six bedrooms, six bathrooms, parking for 10 vehicles, stables, a swimming pool and a full-sized tennis court.

This deal can be seen as Ruby’s homecoming, as the actress grew up in Queensland, not far from the Currumbin Valley. In an interview with “Vogue Australia” from 2019, Ruby shared memories of her childhood in the region: “My mother would yell at me from the window when the food was ready,” and said: “I’ve told this to friends who grew up in New York or London, and they have no idea what I mean.” Now it seems that she will be able to give her children a similar childhood.
