More than 700 extraordinary places, many of which are usually inaccessible or little-known, exceptionally open their doors for the 15th edition of the FAI Autumn Days. The large street event promoted by the FAI – Italian Environment Fund ETS to enhance the country’s cultural and landscape heritage is scheduled Saturday 10 and Sunday 11 October 2026 in 350 cities in Italy.
The initiative, organized by the FAI Delegations and Groups present in all the regions with the fundamental contribution of young volunteers, invites the public to discover the immense historical, artistic and environmental heritage thanks to free visits. For two days a great widespread and choral story comes to life among monuments, architecture, landscapes, works of art, traditions and local stories. From monumental buildings to theatres, from churches to places of education, up to naturalistic areas, castles, art collections and examples of contemporary architecture, the variety of openings remains wide and surprising.
The 2026 edition focuses on Made in Italy

In this edition, the Foundation pays particular attention toItalian craftsmanship et al Made in Italyenhancing the knowledge, ancient crafts, manufacturing traditions and productive excellence that define the identity of the territories and make Italy a point of reference in the world.
The Foundation is committed to making this heritage known through openings and special visits, selected thanks to the territorial network and collaboration with Confindustria e Museempresa.
